Plan of the Institute
The Institute is currently located at Suite 1, Level 5, 545 Kent Street, Sydney. The administration office, library, student clinic, herb dispensary and education facilities are all located on level 5.

Lecture/Training Rooms
There are three lecture/training rooms numbered rooms 1, 2 and 3. These rooms will be locked at all times when not in use. Allocatin of these rooms is displayed outside these rooms at the commencement of each semester.

Lecturers Room & Common Areas
The lecturer's room, the student common room and student study area are located on level 5. The lecturer's room will be locked at all times when not in use.

Kitchen/Refreshment Area
There is a refreshment area available at the Institute. They are provided with basic cooking and eating facilities such as tea, coffee, microwave oven and refrigerator etc.

Student Clinic
Clinical training is on-the-job training. It provides students with first hand experience in the management of a professional practice. Over the duration of their program, students undertake a supervised clinical practicum in which they are taught the practice of TCM in graded steps. This section begins with simple diagnosis, the application of acupuncture, related therapies and herb dispensing procedures, then continues with more elaborate diagnosis, herb application, clinic administration/promotion and patient management. Due to great demand from the public, the SITCM clinic is open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday.

Herbal Dispensary
The Institute has a fully equipped and stocked Chinese herbal dispensary which is maintained by Institute students. They are supervised by fully qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners in the art of Chinese Medicine. Students are instructed on how to fulfill herbal prescriptions, learn the skills on storing and ordering raw, granulated and patent Chinese Herbal remedies.

Clinic Rooms
Clinic, consultation and treatment rooms and the herb dispensary are all located on the same level.

Western Medical Laboratory
The SITCM is equipped with an integrated western medical science laboratory, for the exclusive usage by the Institute students for practical use in the western medical subjects. The lab offers microscopic slides, computer programs, anatomical subjects, models and charts. The laboratory is an integral component for the study of health sciences.

Institute Library
The Institute has a library of texts that include the translations and the latest works of leading scholars and practitioners from around the world. The Institute library prepares TCM Journals, books in English & Chinese, and reference books also available. You also can research widely reference with online UNILINC search engine.

Internet Access
Students have unlimited access to broadband interent available in the library.

Photocopying
There are two photocopiers housed within the lecturer's room and the administration office. The cost of each photocopy is 20c per page or at a rate set by the Institute from time to time. Students are required to seek assistance from the administration office if they need to use the photocopier.
