DUTIES OF THE ROLE:

• Provide effective treatment, advice and guidance
• Liaise with other modalities to craft holistic treatment plans
• Innovate to continually improve on client outcomes
• Support the grout and professionalism of the practice
• Support the growth and professionalism of colleagues

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ROLE:

• Diploma Qualified in Remedial Massage Therapy, Myotherapy or Bowen Therapy
• Member of an industry association (or in the process of becoming a member)
• Health fund certified (or able to be or in the process of becoming certified)

REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS:

• Base Pay + Super + Commissions

Seeking Lecturer for Chinese Herbal Medicine Unit
Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Since 1984, the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine has been producing Chinese medicine practitioners in Sydney. We now seek a sessional lecturer to teach Chinese herbal medicine to our Year 1 students in our Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) degree in Semester 2 2024.
The successful candidate must have:
1. A Bachelor degree in TCM, AND either a Master or PhD degree in TCM (or equivalent professional experience)
2. At least 5 years’ experience in the practice of Chinese herbal medicine
3. At least two years of teaching experience (preferred)
4. Ability to effectively use software such as PowerPoint, Word and Moodle for teaching
5. Excellent academic English
6. A passion for teaching
